14 years ago this day...
Michelle and I muttered those two nasty little words to each other before friends and family in Dousman, WI. "I Do" or "I will". I have no clue which it was, haha. I may have said "yup".

I recently heard someone say the following, and now I have occasion to use it. "I have been married for 14 years...2 of them happily". LOL!! Just kidding honey! Hey, put those damn handcuffs away, I was only joking!! Not the pepper spray too!!

I told her long before we were married. "The day I stop joking with you is the day we're through". I don't think we'll be parting ways anytime soon; she gives me too much material.

So, 14 years ago, at 11:00 PM we were dancing, laughing, having a great time and probably contemplating how many more 1/2 barrels we'd need to make it through the night. Now... I am wondering why the hell I am up so late.

Goodnight from the north country.

Number one on Google
I was checking the logs today and it seems that "Quadramed Sucks" is a popular search phrase at Google.com, whose 7th birthday is today. Happy birthday Google! Now that I have dispatched the birthday greeting, let’s get back to the topic at hand... Oh yeah, Quadramed Sucks! Why would 43 people search for that phrase AND hit my site if it were not true? Hehe. Some peeps on the financials board at Yahoo will echo my sentiment as most have tons of money invested in it that has lost big time and they need to recoup that coin. Me, I bought in when we were in the gutter. Thankfully we haven't washed down the sewer yet.

Google results for Quadramed Sucks

Cleaned out the phone...
Now I have some MoBlog content. Not much, but a few new ones. Mostly beer, hehe.

Webcam is plugged back in...
I forgot that it had been unplugged, haha. The image is in the right nav bar, click on it for a larger view. It uses a serial port connection and I had unplugged it when I stopped using my laptop to load my GPSr units with data. I would like to one day move the cam to a different spot. Our backyard is not that deep and we're surrounded by trees, plus the lens is a telephoto lens, not exactly ideal. But it has a nice hood (iris cover or whatever the hell ya call it) that kills all the afternoon sunlight. I need an all weather enclosure and I can mount it to the garage facing north. Then I can put the halogen lights on a motion censor in the driveway and we can capture bunny rabbits running through there, haha.

Time to go wake up Mama Bear... Last night was her last night on and now she has six days off. Must be nice!

First day of Fall and maybe some frost!
The weather guesser on TV claims that there is a chance of frost tonight! We are under a frost advisory. Cool! I haven't seen a skeeter in a while, well, maybe a slow mover or two, but that is about it. Leaves are getting colorful now. Michelle and I were hoping to go out for a little drive (with gas prices as they are) and take some shots of the foliage. It is supposed to rain this weekend, so that is out of the question.

Vintage Snowmobiles!!
In September? You betcha! Where? Eagle River! Where else? :)

I can't stand the Deckerheads so I won't give a link to their website, which sucks. They solicit credit card info via an unsecured page, even after they were told that was a bad thing. That should give you some indication of just how big the Deckerhead is, on these morons. However, I will attend The Reunion this weekend (paying in cash), at their track, and watch some grass drags and check out the vintage sleds. We'll assemble with vintage sledding pals from near and far and tell all kinds of stories and lies. I'll probably pull a muscle or two upon my first glance of a 77z for the season.

BP and I will be staying on the grounds in his camper. Look for some dudes drinking some good beer and probably laughing a whole lot cuz there won't be any wives or kids driving us crazy, hehe.

See ya there!

$2.799 Per Gallon @ Dave's in Crandoom!!!
I never thought I would get excited about gas being $2.79 a gallon. I saw the price on my way home tonight and filled up the Yota. I have been puttin in 5 gallons at a time since I paid $3.19 per gallon some weeks ago when it dropped from $3.39 per gallon. I read a story online today that mentioned oil prices rose yesterday or the day before. So, this was a welcomed site today and I filled it up. Good to go for another week and a half!

Keep An Eye On The Sky!!!
Especially if you live in the northern latitudes!!! There has been some wild solar activity and the likelihood of aurora activity is high! You can always get the latest info directly from SpaceWeather.com. I always have a link in the links section under 'Weather'. Check it out!!

If you would like to look at the pictures people post, check them out here. Now, with the new camera, I am hoping that one day my pics will be on there, haha.

Lawrence P. English is gone from QuadraMed!!
Larry English is the ass monkey that used to be the CEO of the company I recently worked for. The very same Larry English that wiped out 100's of jobs and eagerly backed the giving of American developer jobs to the freakin Chinese. Too bad he didn't leave years ago, when we used to still get sales. Now they have some young stud in there, maybe he'll turn things around for all my friends that still work there AND for all the stock I currently own! God bless all them people still sticking it out, I don't know how you can. I have only been gone for about 5-6 weeks now, no regrets, no way! It'll be interesting to see if I can get a decent Google Ranking. LOL!!! Hahaha! If Larry ever name surfs, haha. Larry, you sir, are an ass monkey!

Not one single guess...
I checked the logs... People hit the site... About 90 unique sessions after I posted the last message. Not one person took a stab at what was such a big freakin deal for me. Hehe. I was half expecting a couple of fun remarks about some off the wall crapola. Guess not... Anywho, I am now at 366 days of no smoking. One year without so much as a puff of a smokie treat. Since the readers of my little shit site won't make any comments about it, I guess I'll just sit here and get tennis elbow from patting my own freakin back!! You leakers!! Hahaha... At least my wife and kids remembered; Michelle had to pay the kids to come tell me congrats.

Well, here's to another year of smobriety!!

Happy Labor Day!
Wow, frickin September, already!

Spent some time with friends who were up north visiting. Not sure when they will be back again as they bought a new house and will be real busy in the weeks ahead preparing for the move.

Also spent some time at Floyd's place on Venus Lake in Monico. Did a little bit of boating, some eating, and a whole lot of drinking.

Kids hung out at the race track on Sunday watching the big races. Michelle and I snuck out to Mike and Kerri's to relax.

Today, Labor Day, the kids and I headed out to do some GeoCaching as Michelle was sleeping the day away after going back to work last night. What a great day of GeoCaching!! In about 5 to 6 hours, we grabbed up eight caches, two travel bugs, and one Canadian GeoCoin. I put all of the pics on the MoBlog complete with links to each cache page.

Tomorrow is a huge freakin day for me!! Biggererer than any birthday I have ever had. More hugerererer than that time I drank a quarter barrel myself (just kidding, trying to make a point on how big a deal this is). Any guesses? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? Anyone? If I were not working tomorrow, I would have a big damned party!!

Keep a tight one... (Thanks Jimmy)
