First Snow... WD-40... New Skins...
We finally got our first snow of the season. It started with some flurries on Turkey Day and, by the time it was over on Saturday, we had 4-5 inches. It was enough to get me out in the garage and put the plow on the old Ford. I have to remember to spray the hydraulic connections with WD-40 periodically throughout the winter and take them off from time to time. Last spring was a major pain to get that plow off! I got tires for the Toyota last week, good timing! New skins grip the snow real good! I can't believe that in a few hours, it will be December. Damn, where does the year go? I just thought back on all the crap that happened so far this year. I hope December is uneventful.

Moving Stuff Around...
I've been wanting to get this house cleaning done on the site for some time now. I've always strived to have fast loading pages. But, I stuck way to much crap out here and it was really slowing down the load time. The biggest improvements were to get rid of the latest virus feed from Trend-Micro, Yahoo headlines, and the current radar image. You can still get the current radar, you just need to click a link now. The link has been moved over to the left hand side of the page under the "Weather Stuff". I'm also going to try to get some stuff done on my page as well. Maybe I'll stick the virus feed over there. Who knows what the hell I'll do:-) Keep coming back to find out.

Happy Birthday Michelle
I won't dare tell y'all how old she is. I will simply say Happy Birthday you old, timeworn, decrepit, dilapitated, antique, elderly, seasoned Geritol popping granny!!! Now, if you'll excuse me, I must leave town before this gets posted!!

Happy Day... Sad Day...
First the happy... Gordon did NOT win the NASCAR Championship!!! Nor did Johnson!!!

Now the sad... My Dad called today. My cousin, Tom, died Saturday after suffering a massive heart attack. Tom was a couple of years younger than I, 37 is pretty damn young for a big time heart attack. I had many, many, many fun times with him as a kid and into our early adult years, when it was finally legal to drink those adult beverages. He was the farm kid and I was the city kid. Tom, even though he was younger, turned me on to many "bad" things. Of course his older brother, Don, did help quite a bit.:-) Not that this was a good thing, but it sure did make summertime out in the farmlands East of Whitewater a helluva lot more fun. So, with that said, I raise my beer up to you this night, Thomas Andrew Huml, and reflect back on all the excellent memories.

We have a President?... GeoCaching... Northern Lights...
We knew who the president was within 24 hours of all the polls closing!!??!! Wassup wid dat?? Like it or hate it, too bad. Bush won the popular vote + the electoral vote, can't really argue with that. You can always move to Canada:-) Funny how the Canadian Immigration website traffic saw an increase in US visitors by 5 or 6 times the normal traffic. I guess they normally get 20,000 hits per day from the US. The day after the election, it was around 115,000 to 120,000 hits. Send all the democrats to Quebec and see how they fair in a country that hates us anyway, and they all speak French. Have you ever been to Quebec? As soon as they find out you're American, out comes the French, and they stop talkin to you. Some of the rudest damn people I have ever met were in the Province of Quebec!! So, if that's where the Liberals will be most happy, see ya!!! Don't let the door knob hit you on the way over the border!! Anyone ever notice the "Attack France" link to the left?? Ann Coulter tells it like it is. Hehehe, I'm probably twisting some Democratic undies in a real bunch...

The kids and I tried our hands at GeoCaching with my new toy. Was pretty damned fun! If you have a GPS, I encourage you to try it out! We have quite a few near us, this was our first find. Here is a pic of the kids holding up the cache. Someone is selling geocaching t-shirts that pretty accurately summarizes what it is all about, and, how you could describe it to someone who doesn't know what geocaching is. "I use multi-billion dollar military satellites to find tupperware hidden in the woods..."

On November 7th, 2004, we received a MEGA dose of the Northern Lights!! I took pictures and uploaded them to the server. I didn't have a chance to put them in a fancy page or anything. They're pretty big, 1600x1200 resolution, it may take a while if you only have dialup. But, IMHO, it's worth the wait, they are cool!! To see more Northern Lights from all around the world, check out the gallery over at SpaceWeather.com. You can find out when the aurora borealis might be making a stop in your neighborhood!!

Michelle is still loving the new job!! She's been on the night shift for a couple weeks now. Aside from having to work a couple extra days of overtime because she has no seniority, she's still happy. I'll be happy when I get her check!! Boo-yeah, show me the money and bring it home to daddy!!! I can say that now, but at some point in time, they're going to send her away and teach her how to become an ass kicker:-) Hope she doesn't wanna practice on me, I'll send her to rough up BP. However, I would consider letting her practice handcuffing me, as long as she gets fuzzy ones!! Hehehe, is that appropriate for a family site?

Keep a tight one... (Thanks Jimmy)
